PSN Store 9th March PS3 – My Recommendations

Hopefully next week we will see some better ‘special offers’. I’m very bored of what they are offering at the moment.

Starting off this week’s recommendation is Back to the Future: The Game – Episode One. A big price of £16 seems a lot but we are told that this will unlock all future episodes. Who doesn’t want to play as ‘Doc’ or ‘Marty’? We then move on to the classic Tomb Raider III. At £8 its a little rich for a PSone game for me but I’m sure I’ll download it as my brother-in-law loves these games and I really should see what all the fuss is about.

There is a single player demo of MotorStorm Apocalypse available this week. I didn’t enjoy the first Motorstorm game but I’m not sure if that was because I was disappointed with the handling or the slowness of the graphics. Perhaps this one will be an improvement.

Game Add-on wise there are downloads for Homefront & Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. Bother around the £7/8 mark. If you’ve spent £40-50 on a game, spending another £8 is unfair but it might be worth getting the add-ons now and waiting for the games to reduce in price. I’m sure I’ve seen Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood for less than £25 but I’m sure it will drop to below £20 at some point soon.

PSN Store 2nd March PS3 – My Recommendations

It really is a sorry week for PSN store updates.

First up I’d recommend Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 – The PSOne Game. Its only £3 and will probably waste a couple of afternoons for you. It doesn’t have the same graphics as Black Ops but then its also only £3! If you fancy spending a bit more, treat yourself to Prince of Persia for £16. It might be a lot but remember this is a proper PS3 game and these always come with a heafty price-tag!

There is a Demo available for the Call of Duty: Black Ops single player. I’m guessing the world and his wife has already played this game but I’d seriously recommend the single player storyline –  very well written and keeps you drawn in.  There is also the First Strike Map Pack for BlOps but at £11.50 I’d not be rushing to get it.  The trouble is you know all your friends will buy it and so you’ll have to get it to join in with them!

I’ve included some vehicles for TDU2 as I like the Bugatti and the Ford Shelby GT500 (Elanor from ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’). On a related theme I’ve included sme Avatars from Ferrari Challenge. If you’ve got a spare 20p credit on your PSN Account, treat yourself to a classic Ferrari! 😀

Finally I’ve included the Video for Deus Ex: Human Revolution as I’m really looking forward to this game.

All-in-all a pretty rubbish PSN Store update – here is hoping for something better next week.
